btw here is the set-up:

'01 '58 Historic LP w/ Rebel Yell bridge and 'stock '57 classic in the neck. All sounds are switching between pickups and volume control manipulation. The cabinet is a '69 Marshall Basketweave loaded with pre-Rola 30's. Amp settings were Master 1 o'clock Volume 2 o'clock Bass Mid and Treb around Noon. From 4 feet and Cabinet level the volume is 109 db.

I've been interested in these... What steered you towards this amp? Did you already have experience with a Cantus? How loud?

Oh yeah, I believe it :D I work at the same place Harry does.

Killer sounds! The one I tried at American Guitar Boutique (before they moved) did not sound like that at all. It must have been sick.

Thanks for recording/posting those, they sound great.

It is funny, I play mine with single coils and the boost off mostly. The bluesy tone of the amp is where I tend like it best. Your overdrive/boosted tones and playing really showed off the rock side of the amp well.

FWIW, you have some amazing gear. I love the Wizard clips you did. They are fun to listen to.

Thanks Harry! The 12 watt amp would be a killer gigging amp! ;)

Great sounding clips! I've played the TT and it's unlike any other amp out there. It has its own unique signature and packs full range sound in at managable levels. If you like having an amp that's not a clone of anyithing, but is a fresh, new, innovative design, its a great choice.

I have a Cantus and just love it. I've had/have Marshalls, Mesas, Dr Zs, Riveras, Bad Cat, and the Straub is the one that I rely on. It's my main gigging amp and always sounds fantastic in any venue.

Not to mention, Straub's service is the best in the business!

My understanding is the Twisted Triode is a Limited Edition, so ...

Buy one!
