Hi-lemme know how the bridge "solo" break sounds-its really a rhythm guitar break-with a bit of a lead duble-wasn't sure quite to do-may end up doin' a White Trash horn thing instead one day.

Also curious:are you able to DL this file to your hard-drives?

I right clicked and hit "save target as" and it comes down as an m3u file. I'm not sure of what that is...but I think it's just a link to the song online. So I don't think I was able to actually download the song. Especially since the file is only 145 bytes!!!

Loved it, John!! Is that you singing?? The song (and singing) reminds me a little of James Vincent in a couple of spots.

The singing kinda made me think of a young Dr. John.

John, that was really cool. At times it reminded me of older Steely Dan.

Man - that sounds fantastic! It's got some older Little Feat vibe for sure, especially when the backup vocals kick in hard. Love it!

Yeah, that really reminded me of Little Feat. I thought that the whole thing was great- excellent taste and restraint shown in all of the concise guitar fills. I think this tune is done, at least from my perspective. If you choose to work on it further, don't kill the vibe- it sizzles right now.

    Hi John -
The break in your song sounds a lot like JV. He's an excellent player, singer, songwriter.

Click on "Discography," then clik on one of the CD covers, and then at the top of the page you'll see "Sound Booth." There you can hear clips of his songs.
I've been listening to him since the late 70's. I think you'll like his stuff.

Man, I've just been lovin' everything you post!!! This is such a cool song and the playing and arrangement are pro all the way. Where can I buy your CDs?

Edit: Just checked your site. Now I know where to buy CDs. ;)

    Nice work John!
A cross between Little Feat and Steely Dan is a nice way to go, if you ask me.

Keep up the good work...still diggin' my old Bogner?

John, Another one I really like as was the case with "Pick up the Hammer", "Soul Train". Lot's of Dan'ish influence. Looks like your upcoming record is on a good track.

    Peace,
