I finally finished that darn Carcosa vs. Frog demo:

I won't bore everyone (including Chank) with the litany of life-related excuses and creative process debacles preventing timely delivery of the goods. My signal chain was as follows: Schecter 2006 S-1 Guitar (Eb standard tuning)>Mojo Hand 443 Analog Filter>Subdecay Virtruvian Mod>Shoe Frog>DOD Carcosa>Atomic Amplifire (Zoom MS-70-CDR in FX loop)>Mackie Onyx Blackjack>Audacity>iTunes MP3 conversion

All delay and reverb effects in this track were generated using the MS-70 CDR, and I alternated the order of the Carcosa and Frog in the signal chain at times. Drums were programmed using the Hydrogen H2 Death Metal kit, which actually works quite well for polka and new country IMO.

I'm on vacation during the coming week and plan to make up for lost fuzz time. I've received multiple fuzzboxes since my last post here (Zander Cafetiere, Mojo Hand FX Rounder, Earthbound Audio Supercollider 71, JDM Pedals Little Steamer, Sinister Audio Soul Provider, and Heavy Electronics Grind Fuzz) and can make an attempt to compose a few more clips and mini reviews.

    Ordered just following Holiday break.
Rob said 45 days at time of order.
3 months??? maybe they're getting loaded up with Tax Refund orders? ;)

It reminds me of Tech 21 Plexi FR5 regarding gain, textures, voicings, etc though more EQ options with CF.
Going to take a lot of time to dial in the Fusion channel and get to understand HRM post gain EQ

Living up to hype thus far

Hmmmm...maybe it's more like 2-2 1/2 months or just over that. Now I'm not sure!
I do remember it wouldn't be until I got home and that's April so...

That's really, really good, PB! I bet Tame Impala will
be calling..... that melody and motif are just too
full of sweet, sweet candy to go unused. :D

It's awesome to hear some music with the Flooper.....
I might have to talk with @wrightdude .... but I am not
sure I am skillful enough to use it, and he bought my
8-step... and a bunch of other guys came and talked
me out of most of my fuzz. :(

Ok, maybe it was me that accosted myself and stole
all of my fuzz for cash. ;)

Thanks for the kind words on the track, too! :beer

That Borat image from above needs to go
with this track. It's like Kazahkstani punk.
I mean that in the best way possible. :)

These would be perfect if they had an expression pedal jack to get the full experience.

Does Basic Audio offer that as a mod?
