    And your choice here in 2016 is;

Keep it to just good amp tone, no effects including od and delay, just the best raw amp tone.

I think even the diehard guys are getting tired of these polls. I'm only guessing by the lack of replies.

I'm sure this thread will finally provide the definitive answer we have been looking for. Good job OP!

First off, I'm not asking the question for you, I'm asking it for me.

Secondly, go away, I wasn't seeking sarcastic bs. And I'm not a troll or any other monster.

If people don't want to respond to my question, that's fine.

I'm not one of the diehard guys, and I've never asked this question. It's a fair question. Thanks for the forecast.

You're very welcome. Wasn't trying to be rude, just stating that the other 100 threads about the same thing have everybody numb already. Hope you find what you're looking for.

I live just a few miles from Tom Waits. But he never plays locally.

I haven't tried the Helix or Axe-FX, so not much point in my voting either. My guess would be that it's going to just turn into another popularity contest anyway, with people voting for what they own regardless of their experience with the others.

About the most subjective poll I've seen for a while. As with others, I can't give an answer, as I haven't played all modellers deeply enough.

At this point, however, I think most people in the 'Digital & Modeling Gear' boards would agree that the best amplification system is the one closest to them.

I haven't played the Axe FX II but, between the Helix and the Kemper my vote goes to the Kemper (especially if using M.Britt profiles). BTW, I own both.

I've owned all three and used them extensively, now currently own two of them.

For pure amp tones the Kemper wins, in my opinion because it gets closest to the original signal of an actual mic's up amp by design. But the others can sound just as good, maybe just not quite as accurate, if that makes sense!

I've picked the Helix for myself for a bunch of other reasons, but the answer for your question is "Kemper".

I think an interesting conundrum with this poll might be how many of the people who have participated have actually played all three devices in person recently in one session using the same amplification/speaker systems to reach their conclusions.

    I'm guessing not many. :)

depends on who's playing it... I voted Kemper but this is just another BS poll...

I'm one if you put the AX8 and Axe II on equal footing.

Own fractal and helix, spent tonight with a Kemper.....

Voted Helix, because it sounds great

    Ax8 sounds great

This, but I haven't had my Helix long enough, but it is fun building your own patches, and they're getting very close to my KPA.

I am unqualified to answer as I don't own a KPA or Helix - I just have jammed with people who own then. Having my AX8 in the same room with them did not suck us into a vortex of oblivion when the the matter/anti-matter particles collided.

That said, we all dug the tones and agreed they all kick ass. I am quite satisfied with my AX8.

    Rock on...
