man.. am i disappointed or what!
tried my sound with and without the strobostomp and there's a major difference when its connected...
i tried both modes - when its muted when engaged and when its always on... both sucks the tone and lose highs... :(

is it the same with yours?
i thought it was true bypass :(.

    Hehehe
It is probally just that...troo moohpassed.....the jesus bypass!
It most likely your cable length that muffles your sound, and when the circuit kicks in, then the impedance changes to a more low one, enabling the millivolts to flow more freely!

Did you change the dip switch inside? It ships in buffered mode as far as I know and you have to change it.

make sure you set your dip switches by the directions into true bypass mode.

with six pedals in the chain how do you know it's the strobostomp that is sucking tone? i had a v1 s-stomp and used it for quite some time. when the dip switches are set correctly there was no tone suck. i now have v2 and it is the same way. there are a couple of pedals on your board that are known tone suckers that i would suspect first.

That's a great small board. Who makes the board itself?

Put the Strobo in true bypass mode, and after the Tube Factor. I run both of those pedals on my board as well, with no tone sucking. The buffer on the H&K is a nice one, IMO, and should drive the signal through the Strobo with no problem. The problem likely is that you're putting the Strobo first in line, where it's receiving a high impedance signal from your guitar.

    Looks like a PT Jr.
My SStomp doesn't change my tone at all. Try moving it around in your pedal order and see what happens. I never have put mine first because the jacks are a bit wimpy and I didn't want to keep using them.
