I’ve always wanted one. Have the Lex and had a Flint for the trem. Would love those both combined with a phaser and other mod stuff.

Where did you hear the news? What’s the new pricing going to be?

It was one of the 5 pedals in Reverb.com's Youtube video released towday where they've noticed a downward trend. I wouldn't be surprised if the prices on the secondary market increases, at least temporarily, in response to the video.

It came out on Reverb yesterday. The price could drop near $300:

I own one and like it a lot. Sure it may not be as good as single modulation effects, but I find I use them so sparingly that the price to have this many effects is a no brainer.

Love mine, super useful I use it mainly for:
rotary, vibe, phaser, chorus, auto swell, wah (with expression pedal) volumen pedal (with expression pedal) all of them really nice sounds!

Price drops could mean new models coming out.

Thanks, do you feel like it could replace any of the stand-alone pedals in the list?

Yes I own it, and yes I like it. Love it in fact! I use it mostly for its Chorus and Destroyer machines, but it’s a fabulous unit all around and that Rotary sound in particular has to be one of the best I’ve heard anywhere. If the price does drop as predicted, there’ll certainly be a lot of lucky folks out there who’ll finally get to snag a Mobius, but in all honesty, I have no regrets whatsoever about having paid full price for mine. Well worth it!

I would gladly pay full price for mine considering how many effects it could replace. The rotary, chorus, vibe and tremolo are fantastic.

It depends which pedals you use before and how meticulous you are with the sounds in them, to me I can get really nice traditional sounds that make me very happy, of my list the one I had more problems was Phaser, I really liked my phase 90 and I couldn't nail it 100% but It's close enough.

Rotary is amazing, top of the line imo.

I do own chase bliss pedals for phaser, flanger, a boss dimension C and some other specific pedals that can't be replicated imho. but are very specific and special and it's not fair comparing mobius with them.

If I were to lose mobius I'd probably buy another one.

I don't think folks understand the point- the price of a *used* Mobius has been declining slightly. Everyone is still paying the same price for them new as they always have. But it's not holding value the way that it (and almost all Strymon pedals) has in the past.

The price of Mobius is the same. The amount that consumers are willing to pay for a used Mobius has had a decline.

And it's about time! I'm tired of seeing folks asking 95% of the new price for used Strymon gear. Stop overpaying folks!

The rotary engine is fantastic, and some of the unique and weird effects in it are good, but all in all it’s pretty weak. The phaser, flanger, vibe, vibrato, wah and chorus are not very good. I don’t miss my Mobius one bit.

Intro sounds like Stevie Ray. Is the rotary about the same as a univibe? The video doesn't sound like a univibe.

Competition with the Boss MD-500 maybe?

Am I crazy or does the Boss sound way fatter than the Strymon which seems more mid forward?

It’s more about market willingness than Reverb announcing something. Usually when these type of videos go up, the price magically starts to increase with the attention. Don’t get your hopes up too much
