Strymon volume drops - anyone else?

So like, every Strmon pedal I've tried (Blue Sky, Brigadier, El Capistan) has had a perceptible, if admittedly slight, volume drop. No amount of knob-tweaking remedies this, and I broke one open (the Brig, I think) to see if there was an internal gain trimmer - no such luck. I haven't read all the El Capistan (let alone Strymon) threads front to back, but I've yet to see anyone else mention this issue. The Blue Sky is my only reverb pedal at the moment, love it, not trying to besmirch the now-venerable Strymon name, just trying to figure out if my ears suck...?

I don't notice any more volume drop with my Brigadier than I hear with any delay/reverb I've tried. I always find perceived volume is less any time you wet up a signal, whether it's amp reverb, pedals, what have you. This is based on absolutely no science whatsoever so take it as a FWIW.

I haven't noticed a drop in volume...FYI, you can boost the signal by +3DB by holding both FSW's down and turning the Mix knob...it's in the manual...

YESSSSSSS. You rule, I'mma try that. I'm clearly more of an ask-stupid-internet-questions guy than a read-manuals guy.

Cool...it's one of the "Hidden" features on the Strymon...they seem to have it pretty well covered...I have all of them except for the Brigadier...I really like them so far...
