My nephew has a WRX wagon that he absolutely loves. And that WRX is definitely a stud!

I know three people that own WRXs and all are above what I would consider the age demographic. I drove a 2004 or 2005 (the first year after the bug eye version) and yeah... it will make you smile if you aren't used to turbo/AWD compact cars. In fact, if you haven't driven a fast car in a while, you might actually laugh out loud.

Best looking Subaru I've ever seen. Finally, Toyota has improved the looks of a Subaru!

While it's a smoking performer, I've always seen the WRX as a Stud in a "Night at the Roxbury" way.
This coming from a guy who still joneses for old BC Riches though.

That's what I was thinking. The concept cars always look way better than the productions models.

I bought the WRX I used to own when I was in my middle 50s, put wheels, wide tires, and Greddy exhaust on it. I have had many go fast sports cars in my life, and none were more fun and controlable to drive than the WRX. The new one looks cool ...

As I understand, they won't be keeping the skinny side views in production. I own a 2010 wagon. It's a blast, though my left leg can now probably split the uprights at 50 yards after driving in SoCal traffic for the last few months.

Also, being an Impreza, it's a pretty much like driving a $23k car w/ $9k in suspension, transmission, and engine upgrades. Handles great but lots of road noise (not the good kind) and the interior is meh. If you buy, the short throw shifter is a must.

I still miss my old MY98 WRX... Glad to see they're reverting back to the 'mean' style from the dinky ones that came out in the early 2000's...

Definitely Stud... Wonder how much they will cost over here...

One of the best new car designs I've seen in a long time. Right up there with the Ford Fusion.

Stud if they put the fun back in them. I had an 06 STI which most consider the best year and it was a blast, but I was not a big fan of the boy racer looks. Took lots of crap over the giant rear wing.
I've had a lot of serious 4 wheeled hardware and the STI stands out as the most fun car I've ever owned. The newer versions got too soft and lost the hair trigger throttle response that made the 06's and older soo much fun. come out with an "R" version or someting that is minimilist with adjustable suspension and a bit more boost, oh and if it's a wagon all the better. I'm in. :)

Deffo a Stud, I had a couple of Impreza Wagons and have a real fondness for the brand, it's a shame how soft they got and they gave up in the UK

Hopefully this goes into production and will do really well for them

Awesome look, as long as they hold the sparkle/glitter paint. Glossy black - YES SIR!

I've been waiting a while for this one to surface. I voted stud, but that's only if they keep it around $26k for the base model. It's supposed to be lighter, able to run on 87octane with no power loss, and get better gas mileage...Where's the catch? That might show up in the price...

It's gonna have to be one hell of a wrx to get me out of my current ride. 7 years running, not a single issue, and still under warranty. Best car I've ever owned, and surprisingly one of the worst selling brands in America. ;)
