Sudden volume drop - help!

Hoping you can help me with this. I play an electric mandolin through a ZT Lunchbox amp with a few pedals. I have noticed a few times a sudden volume drop. Does this sound like the amp, the cables, or maybe the wiring in my mandolin? Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Could be any of the above.

I don't know what pedals you are using but assuming it isn't a certain combo of pedals where settings are making it lower....

Process of elimination is the way to go.

I'd go right from the instrument to the amp trying each of your cables first then add things back in one at a time until you find the culprit.

You have to try to isolate the problem by adding everything back into the mix one at a time.

How many pedals do you have?

If I were a betting man, I would say it is an amp issue.

The ZT Lunchbox is solid-state...I'm guessing it's a cable issue or perhaps a jack on one of the pedals.
