Who out there is making a strat or strat-ish guitar with stock piezo pickups? Or are there discontinued models from Fender or others that include piezos?

Ernie Ball Silhouette Special would have had both features as options.

    Parker Nitefly.
Godin LGX-3, if you can find one.
And every once in a while you'll find random Tom Andersons, Groshes and Suhrs with Fishman Powerbridges.

If you can solder buy the Fishman Powerbridge and Pre-amp and install it in your favorite Strat

Godin solidac...2 buckers however, which split in position 2 and 4.

Thanks, I am definitely capable of doing complex wiring and installation. I just want to get some more ideas about what is out there before I decide which route to take.

Since your good w/soldering iron, look into a Graphetc Ghost System Piezo system. I've had one in my t-style partscaster for just over ten years now. It's a very good sounding system. I've found early on that for the best results get an ABY box and send the Piezo to a dedicated acoustic amp, mag pickups to the regular guitar amp - put a stereo out jack in the guitar and get a Y cord. Or you could get a Rivera Sedona 55 or 25 that has push/pull activated ch2 w/tweeter for acoustic and ch1 is their normal Marshall type voice...

If you can get a s/s/s Parker Nitefly they are wonderful guitars.

A Pete Townshend Signature Strat would work if you can find and afford one.
