    ace circuit.
I have a Tone King that I really dig. I am finding that I am wanting to find a fuller sounding speaker just for yucks sake.

    Thanks

What speaker is in it now?

What are you looking to acheive? Louder? More bass/highs/mids?

    Stock Tone King.......

    Then I went with a G1265

Thinking of trying a Heritage G12H

Looking for less highs and sweet, woody mids. This amp has TONS of low end.

in my sr bf i've tried several legends(122,1258,1218),greenback,celestion blues,g12h,v30,jensen c12n,c15k..best 12" to my ears=scholz sugar cone.i don't like to compare but it's said that scholz speaker it's like a "boutique"evm12l spker.also people say it's a mix of electro voice/greenback..i don't think that's correct but it's a kind of ev sounding to my ears.
    good luck

I have had good results with the Eminence Red White and Blues and Weber California in blackface amps. I have heard good things about the Cannabis Rex in blackface amps too.

I don't care for most "British" type speakers with single speaker blackface type amps.

    Have tried so far:

JBL aluminum dome / recone > not colored enough and the alum dome too bright but may be better played loud.

Weber 12F150 > not bad at all.

Cele Gold > I dont think alnico is for me, something going on in the mids doesnt appeal to me but it is nice and wants to be played loud I think.

Reverend Alltone > alot like the 12F150 more or less.

and am currently trying and liking Naylor (a fancy Emmi) and a TTubby ceramic, they are punchy and articulate.

    Must try the Rex...

    :agree

A reconed JBL D-120F is what I went with in my BF Deluxe but for awhile I had a well broken-in Weber 12F150 that sounded absolutly awesome in there also...
My two favorite Black Face pics for sure...:AOK

    2 weber's I would try-

    ceramic silver bell

and the sleeper- a 12f125 S model. Its the pulp cone. I love these in fenders when using them with Fender guitars. Makes the highs 'warmer' without muting them. And the overdriven sound is fabulous...just gives the amp more of everything. Might be worth a try....really underrated as I dont see anyone talking about them. I had a pair in a blonde bassman, and they just ruled.

A Cannabis Rex might be worth a try too.

I am going to start running through a few of them..

    Suprise of suprises...

I put a Scumback H75LDHC 30 watter in there. Absolutely incredible tone! Woody, bold, SWEET top end...

Is that the one with the big dustcap? Good call. That could end up being the ticket right there.
