I think that one belonged to Dave " Shark Diver" at one time, but he may have sold it I'm not 100%. Beautiful even quilting for a one piece body. Amazing stuff from the talent @ Suhr. - Sir Douglas T

Mine was close to that, but mine had a Zebra wood neck. How's it going Sir Douglas. Hope all is well. :BluesBros

This is mine, she has a koa neck and a cocobolo fretboard.

I really liked the one with the EMGs! Here's a little question: How do you like the EMG85X compared to EMG 85?

Cheers!

Ali-

That's awesome! What model is it? What's the inlay at the 12th?

Hey Ray!

It's a Custom Exotic, I believe it says the year it was made and then X-18. It's based on a Modern series guitar. 1pc. mahogany back, burly maple top, koa neck and a cocobolo fretboard. Aldrich pickups, Gotoh floyd, and the mid-boost switch. John Suhr did the 5 switch and its connections himself, at least that's what we've been told.

On the 12th inlay it says 'ADF', it's the initials of me and my girlfriend and it's her gift to me. She also got me a Suhr Reb Beach a year before this one.

There's also another inlay on the back of the guitar, the same letters but written a lot bigger. Kinda like the body inlay with the guitar on this page with the EMGX pickups, but you know, letters. I can post a photo if you like.

It looks great, but I never thought a guitar could sound like this. Sounds way better than any other Superstrat out there even if played through a cheap modeling amp.
