Hi guys, quick question on the tool that ships in the case to adjust the truss rod. Which end of this do you use? I would have thought it is the short end in to the rod to get more leverage from pushing on the long end? I do notice that the long end has some kind of ball fitment so wondered if it should be that?

In general with Allen wrenches you should not use the ball end for anything that requires torque. The ball end is for threading a bolt that has a distance to travel without any tension. So yes you were correct the first time.

The red rubber on the tool is the end that will touch the part of the strings past the nut. It's a nice touch by Suhr so the strings are marred everytime you make an adjustment.
