Would this be a good all around guitar for jazz and rock?

I am new on the gear page and I will do my best to follow the thread.

    thank you

I have a Pro S1 and play mostly classic rock and some '80's - present rock. This guitar is very versatile with the HSS pickup setup. I don't play jazz but the Pro has a nice clean resonant tone that would definately lend itself to this style.

Been playing a Suhr Pro S3 for a while now and it's perfect for rock and fusion style music. The HSS configuration on the S3 with the basswook body and maple top are really punchy and lend themselves well to OD and distortion. Stable trem as well.

Don't play "real" jazz, but I do play a lot of fingerstyle jazz/blues (Ronnie Earl, Derek Trucks) with the S3 and the stellar playability makes it a breeze to play difficult fingerstyle passages.

The deep, clear piano-like tones of the low E and A strings in the lower registers of the S3 also make it a perfect guitar for surf and clean instrumental styles as well.

    YMMV.

I got my S2 specifically because it is so versatile. It will hold it's own for any genre of music.
