I do this every year and it's fun. Posted in Amps & Cabs, but you can add pedals and instruments too.

What do you have right now that will still be here in January 2009 come hell or high water?

    For me, it's the following:

    Amps: Fractal Audio Axe-FX Standard
Cabs: None. In the Axe-FX. :D
Effects: None. In the Axe-FX. :D
Guitars: 2004 Melancon Custom Artist and 2005 Custom Artist "T"

**Special personal note: Same gear I posted up this time last year. Note I have a QSC HPR122i that I use as a monitor/conventional 'cab' on stage when and as needed. I run direct to FOH and use IEM 90% of the time now for my weekly gig. :D**

Special Bonus: What will you have then that you don't have now?

My Answer: Finish up my mutt Kramer's and perhaps a Strat (have all the parts for my Kramers and the Strat, need to complete some wiring for the Kramers and assemble/setup the Strat).

Fuchs ODS30 and Brown Note D'Lite aren't going anywhere.

Guitars are an early 90's Strat Ultra, and a Hamer Special FM.

A Barber LTD, and my trusty Boss GX-700 processor.

I have other gear, but most of it sits, so this year is more about thinning the herd, and playing.

My Egnater MOD 50 will be here in winter of 2009 ... 2020 too as far I can see because i am one happy camper with that baby.

Also going no where: Zen Drive, Les Paul, Fat Boost.

In the crystal ball is Les Paul Special double cutaway re-do that I am going to do. It'll have a laminate maple top, no pick guard, dual hum-buckers and standard Pual type tail piece set up or maybe a Bigsby. That be a fun build.

For someone as easily bored as I am, I'm unbelievably satisfied withi much of my current gear, so I'll be keeping:
    Amp: Straub Cantus
Cabs: Stone Age with Scumbacks, Dr Z 2-12 Celestion Blues
Guitars: Jimmy Page CA LP, R8 LP, Gretsch 6120 SLO, Ron Kirn Esquire

Will probably acquire a Trainwreck Liverpool style amp, a Malcolm Young Gretsch and a Gibson 1960 RI LP Special

I'm in the process of selling "all" of my gear, amps, guitars, tubes....everything must go kinda deal.

There will probably be just one pedal, some strings and one borrowed guitar left for me by the middle of June if not earlier.

On order: Axe-Fx standard, got on the wait list about a month ago, thinking about changing to Ultra cuz I need the looper effect. Looking around for either powered monitors or nearfield monitors to play at home.

That's the only piece of gear I have on order.

Parts-o-Caster: Will have one assembled, tweaked and set up, by Phil Jacoby, if everything is as planned.

Pedals: Very interested in the Stage Hog.

Other than those, I don't think I need anything else, especially if the Axe-fx works out for me.

Of course if I win the lottery..............................:BEER

    Frankenstrat1- Its #1 for a reason
Frankenstrat2- recently retired (sob). The '55 neck is tired and squirrelly.
    '57 Junior stays at home
Moonstone M-80. Too purdy to sell ever
Jap RI Thinline tele. Lollars. It rocks
    '75 335TD. Cherry red- Sings.
'69 Goldtop w real '52 soapbars. Bad boy.
PRS Artist I- My wifes favorite. Can't sell it.
EPI Koa SG w. High Order Pups. Got Slide?

Special Bonus: What will you have then that you don't have now?

    In transit:
Red Iron Amps 'Da Bronx' Red Sonja #01-
In the trusted hands of AndyZ for clips and photography, soon to return for a good spanking.
Heritage Victory Head and matching 1x12 cab - been on my radar a long time. Arrives Friday.

    On Order:
    Frankenstrat3
    - being built for me by Nick Sorenson of Rocketfire Guitars. Due in July. It should make a Rory Gallagher relic look like a closet classic.
Holy Fire Pedal #04 from Nashville. Glows in the dark and gets redder as it gets louder. Cool pedal alert. It even sounds good.

    On the waiting list for:
    1. Anything new from PaulC. Whenever.
    2. A top secret amp collaboration from Europe. I can't even discuss it, even off-line. Don't ask. Really. Shhhh....
    3. Andy Fuch's new 'amp in a pedal wet/dry thingie prototype' that was previewed at the Amp Show. I want one 'whenever Annette lets him build some.' Huh?

    Going, but not gone yet-
Vetta I, LongBoard and Variax- no time to fool with it anymore.
Epi Koa '59 V. Cool guitar that should go to someone who will play it more.
If I look hard enough there must be some more stuff to get rid of. Speakers and pedals and things I don't use and probably won't.
