Which Mudhoney doc and where can I see it?
I like the sludginess of the Univox SuperFuzz, and ended up with the ZVex Woolly Mammoth which isn't exactly a clone, but gets me in the ballpark.
I have an original one from ‘75 but it is missing the blue switch actuator pedal. It has the trimmer pot inside. I bought it in ‘75, gave it to a relative a couple of years later and got it from a pile of stuff in his garage five years ago. It still sounds great!
It'll let you get your dopethrone on for 'bout $30 bux.
It's based on the FY-2.
Free on amazon prime video and it’s called I’m Now
Just looked at the Ananashead Super Fuzz and it sounds good on the clips plus the price isn’t bad at all
I have and love the EQD Fuzz Master General, but the hard to find Keeley is fantastic.
Ron Swanson Super Fuzz. The SolidgoldFX 76 is awesome but the Swanson is the better clone.
Thanks, I think I need to see it, don't have a superfuzz either...
Another vote for the BYOC Leeds. It’s the closest Ive found to the real thing.

Solidgold fx Formula76. Wonderful, powerful pedal, with the magical tone knob, and the footswitch for a scooped sound. Great design, great building, great pedal.
The Maxon "Fuzz Elements" Air & Ether are supposedly
based on the Super Fuzz.
I have the "Air" , but I have never used any other Super Fuzz style pedal,
so I couldn't say how it compares.
Wattson is great, but used prices on it are dumb.
Basic Audio version has some useful options.
Small Sound/Big Sound The Buzzz is also excellent.
Cool paint job on the byoc.
I went down this rabbit hole a few years ago. Had both the Wattson and Boss Fz2. Sold them both and landed myself a Fredrick Effects Super Unpleasant Companion. You get both the FY2 and FY6 pedals in one unit. It’s the best option and value imo. http://www.fredric.co.uk/shin-ei-fy-2-fy2-fy6-fy-6-clone-super-unpleasant-companion
I believe some of those maxon elements are digital .
The Basic Audio Super Fuzz is one of my all-time favorite fuzzes period. Such a terrific pedal. It's the best of all the Basic Audio fuzzes I've tried.
