I heard that the Super Reverb can only run out to two 4ohm cabs. I would like to run my 67 Super Reverb to a 2x12 cab loaded with 8 ohm EV speakers. Is this possible?

Wire'em up for 4 ohms Fenders can handle 100% mismatches.

I run my SR that is mounted in a Fender head cab into a 212 cab wired to 4ohms. No problems so far and comparing it to when I ran it into the same cab with it running at 2 ohms ( two 4 ohm speakers wired in parallel ) like it is designed I didn't notice any real difference in tone either.

So from what I understand, i need to get the 2 speakers wired to parallel so it's running at 2 ohms or use the Z-Matcher to get this to work.
