1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

it seems everytime i crank my SB it craps out on me, this is the third time. first time i cranked it, the volume dropped and it got real distorted with no headroom, 2nd time it was the same thing. turns out it was a fried resistor and burnt cap. now today i crank it, its got all harsh and then just cuts out, no signal just a loud HUM. i switched out all the tubes, its not the tubes. Marshall 100 watters were meant to be cranked, whats up with mine why does it break down everytime i crank it.

Has the amp ever had a cap job? If not, it's off to the tech we go.

Could be a bias problem if the power tubes are all ok. Tech time.
