Superglue to fill in dents?

I've heard of this as well, but can't confirm. I'm sure somebody will chime in.

It works great. I've done it. Mostly for dents on the back of the neck. You fill the dent up with crazy glue, let it dry and sand it smooth. Not for the beginner. It's not visually invisible but you won't be able to feel the fix.

For nitro you could just drop fill with clear nitro lacquer and it'll melt into the existing finish.

Superglue is better used for poly finishes.

A good friend of mine who attended Brian Galloup's Luthier School uses super glue for this and other things, so I'm guessing that's where he picked it up. I guess it's OK.
I use super glue to glue my fingers when they split, so I won't bleed on my guitar...I know that's not "on topic", but it hasn't hurt my fingers either!
