Supersonic Speaker

Tired of the V30 double note 'cone cry' with my Supersonic (sounds like an out of tune kazoo!)...need a speaker that will give better bottom end and not throw in the towel like the V30.
Have an Emi 'Tonker' to try...anyone tried the 'Swamp Thang' or 'Red
,White & Blues with this amp?

Mine sounded great thru my G12K-100 loaded 2x12 cab. Tight strong lows,punchy mids and not to bright. Bob

I also use a 2 X 12 with this amp but really need a better speaker than the V30 when using the amp alone. The Tonker seems to be sweeter with more bottom end and has a more 3D sound stage...Black Shadow EVM 12L a bit lackluster, heavy, and you have to remove the protective 'cage' around the 6l6's to fit it in...anyone tried anything else?

I'm also using a 2 X 12 cabinet with mine. I have 1 cannabis Rex and one Wizard. This is a good combo imo. Very Loud though, as both speakers are very efficient.

I played thorugh some Weber speakers at the SEGAS last weekend in Raleigh. I really liked the sound of those as well. I may try out some of their Alnico speakers in the future. Alnico speakers are so warm.

I'd like to try a RW&B too, but my cab is 8 ohms (2-16 ohm speakers) and the RW&B is only offered in 8 ohm. The Texas Heat is also an outstanding speaker. I used one with a Marshall I used to own.
