So does anyone own any of these guitars? I love the natural one.

On the natural guitar, not a fan of the "upper horn that's not really a horn" guitar body design. Godin also does that on some of their models.

Just not my thing! More power to those who like them.

I've had a few of their first run models including Westbury and the Jamesport. Honestly they are really quality guitars! I actually like the natural finish on the one above!

Has anyone here played a 1296? How does the neck feel?

I had the white Westbury and thought it was a great guitar, esp for the price. I currently have one of the Supro basses and it's awesome

Was the Bowie model released during the great artist's life?

Yeah, that design looks like it would get in the way, especially if you had on straplocks.

    Cool look, however.

Is the second guitar just a marketing scheme for Bowie's family/estate, or was he known to play one like that?

When I had a Westbury/Jamesport I found that the upper horn strap button was hard to remove to put on straplocks. The angle was odd in that is required a screwdriver to be right up against the neck.

Yeah, released three years after Bowie's passing.
