Supro: crunchy overdrives - thunderbolt or 1624T?

I've noticed supro is coming back with the 64 line!
awesome, anyone know if it's handwired?

I play punkrock, kinda Social Distortion vibe. what would be the better choice here: thunderbolt or 1624T?
been dying to get a supro, but kinda afraid if they will do the trick...
looking for an amp that distorts pretty early on...

I've read that the new thunderbolt will have the choice in SS rectifier and tube rectifier and different wattage.

can anyone shed some light over this?
