I was keeping my eye on a similiar amp on eBay, never got to bidding. It was a real vintage suitcase with 2x12". It's propably removed by now.

Oh, as to the coolest amp, I've always loved the look of the "London" by 65amps. Now that's what makes me drool. :dude

I love that Vintone truck! Maybe that's what I need to get my little boy interested in guitars amps. Of course, since he's only two years old, he'd just roll it all over the house, and I would never get to play with it.

Anybody ever heard a Vintone amp? They look good.

One is a 5E3 Deluxe clone made by Clay Hullett. The other is a RI Bassman I sent to Clay, had him completely gut the chassis and build me a 5F6A chassis.

Both rip, but I'm really considering a Mercury Magnetics OT for the Deluxe. It currently has a Mojo tranny in it but the MM iron is just amazing. It's what I have in the Bassman.

The coolest looking amp I've seen was made by a company called Sonus from Scotland. However, I can't find a single picture of one anywhere online. Anyone have one? Their web site is gone, so I assume they are out of business (always a bad sign).

I know John Phillips doesn't think much of them (also a bad sign ;) ), and I've never played one, but I always loved the look.

Westwood music in LA has a sonus and it looks so futuristic with those giant black recessed knobs-I didn't play through it though. next time I will
