Sykes\Blue Murder Jam

    Here's a take I did on a backing track that is similar to "Out of Love Again" by Blue Murder. I'm not sure who recorded the backing track.

    I'm a huge Sykes fan, so I tried to channel some of his stuff, and fell short I'm sure, but it was fun trying to get into that zone.

    I had some glitching in the beginning, and some trouble with the volume of the lead track throughout, but I liked some of the playing content even though I can hear some clams and timing issues, so I just kept it all. I haven't quite figured out how to tweeze noise out of waveforms or do volume automation in N-Tracks. If anyone has any tips, please let me know.

    Oh, yeah, to keep it gear related:
    I used an Ernie Ball/MM Silhouette Special w/ WCR Shredder in the bridge -> Fulltone OCD -> Vox Tonelab SE.

    You did that through a Tonelab?

    OK, I remixed it and put a little compression on to try to get the levels up. Let me know what you think.
