You’ve got to call them and talk. They’ll price match anyone. I got a Danelectro Breakdown for $98. Also, 12-48 months interest free financing is hard to beat. Free shipping. Candy is a nice touch.

I’ve gotten plenty of deals from sweetwater. Some real good deals. However, any time I’ve inquired about synergy products they wouldn’t budge on price.

This discount doesn't appear to work for Synergy gear.

I've bought two things in the past week, worked both times. Just tried it now, if I am logged into my Pitbull account it works. If I sign out it doesn't, weird.

So, I created an account and tried to order a Powerball pre. Discount code still not working for me.

Works on the other modules and heads, for some reason the PB didn't work.

    Shoot them a message?

So what's the word? How do they sound and feel?

If you're using the effects loop on the Syn-1, anything in the loop is unaffected by switching back and forth between the syn and the amps preamp.

    Thanks Mate.

Not in the manual as far as I could see. But that sort of info is pretty important to old rackers like me.

Think they have a put a bit of thought into that. Little idiosyncrasies like that are important, though if it didn't react like that, using line mixer's and/or switchers in the the "traditional" way could get around it.

From a circuit flow perspective, that sounds like the Syn's preamp module output and the host amp's preamp output (FX send) get AB-ed prior to the Syn-1's loop. Put all of the post-gain processing in the loop, and sail away!

Thinking of splurging for a Syn-1 and a Vai module to use with my modded Laney GH50L.

    Thanks

    Chris.

    Exactly, the switching is pre-loop.

    Cheers.

I placed a Synergy order with Sweetwater on April 4th. My rep informed me today they have a tentative delivery ETA from Synergy on May 22. If they ship on or after May 22, given the shipping slowdown because of the pandemic, it looks like I’ll receive my stuff somewhere near early June. I’M NOT COMPLAINING!!! I’m just sharing for anybody who may have an interest.

Anyone use the SYN-2 in full stereo? I'd love to track something like a SLO on one side and an Uberschall on the other as well as stereo delay/reverb.

You can't use the SYN-2 that way, only one module at a time.

They are mono units, and you can run only one preamp at a time.

I suppose you could get 2 Syn2 units, put a SLO in one and an Uberschall in the other, independently route them to different power sections and cabs, and get your stereo sound... but that’s a very spendy solution.

They have left and right outputs though.

That’s for when the effects loop is used with a stereo effect. Again, you can only run one preamp at a time within a single Syn2.
