Caught Tower last nite to cure a case of "honkeypox". Great tight show as always. New (to me) guitar player, Jerry Cortez kicked arse. Played what looked like a PRS with 3 single coils, and had a LP for when he stepped out for solos. Had is amp covered up with a cover? Emelio, Doc, Dave and the boyz just funked out par excelence! Very "greasy" show!

If there is a "tighter" band on this rock, I'd like to know!

Jerry and his brother Robin (drums) are bay area cats that have been around a long time. I know Robin better but they are both really cool guys and I was happy to hear of Jerry getting the gig. Nice to see friends and acquaintances getting cool gigs....
