Take the Oath

I've recently purchased a black arts toneworks Oath. And let me tell you it is liberating. Besides the huge volume boost which was a bit terrifying. It was the first time in a long time that I kicked on a pedal and felt a sense of ... shear awesome. And on a high gain channel it has this ocatavey velcroy roar that is just nifty. Check it out.

All of the Black Arts stuff I've tried has been just awesome...just tuned so well and yet not limiting to any one thing. If a pedal like the Pharaoh can get doom metallers and TGP blues lawyers to agree then maybe there actually is hope for this country.

Agreed! I've owned a LSTR and pharoah in the past, had to part due to a sudden far move. But I've missed them very much do since. Great stuff. Anyone else try the Oath yet, or revelation? Apperently the Oath is a dimed rev and upon cracking it open and seeing revelation across the circut that theory holds ground.

I have B.A.T.'s Back Forest and it's an amazing, dynamic and versatile overdrive. Also based on the Colorsound Overdriver.

Thats the reason I actually got it. I was in the market for something burly and it fit the bill perfectly. Also its a great review.

Nick is the best salesman of pedals that I have encountered. I just may end up buying an Oath for the reasons he cites. To your point, though, the Black Forest is next on my list. I think that it will stack very nicely with my Pharaoh, which I am very happy with.
