I keep a handful of pedals (mod/dly/rvb) as a full time FX loop for both of my amplifiers.

If I engage them through the amps, they sound great. But...if I run a looper I get two very different results.

If I play my JamMan loops through my FX loop (on my costlier amp), they get choked-off and overtaken by the live guitar.

If I do this on my inexpensive amp, the loop playback is perfect and unimpeded while the guitar is played over the top of the loop.

Is it the type of loop that causes this situation? It's a little disturbing because I use the looper very frequently, and find myself not using my better-sounding amp as much as I would like.

    Any suggestions?
