I have also done som jamming to that backing, with Robben Ford.

It's an Ibanez Artist, with SD Pearly Gates, in bridge-position.

    Recordered with Line6 Guitarport.
    Soldano-model, i think. Don't remember.

And Yes, there is a little too much guitar, on the vocals.
    I know!
    But it was fun!

    Hej Lasse,

Seems like "fun" is what makes many of us guitar players hard to work with. We just think it's so enjoyable that we just play too much all over. :D

As always played with good timing and authority. I also liked your thick tone. I think if you mixed the guitar a little bit lower and added a touch more reverb it would sit much better in the overall mix.

I'm always looking foreward to your next one!

    Somewhat OT:
For you people who sometimes wonder about my own strange song/BT titles (like "Wet Cotton" etc), CryBaby is the origin for many of them.

    Cheers,

BTW...there's no such thing as too much guitar! Too much singing yeah. But never too much guitar.:D

Lasse! You smoke bro! Loved the playing! Tones were great too. Superb playing. I especially liked the Journo clip. I need to grab that backing and give it a shot!

    Hi,

While I've produced and posted a large number of backing tracks this is not one of mine. There are so many good blues BTs out there that I've done styles not so easy to find.

Good take all the same! Makes me want to check out the Guitar Port.

    Cheers,

    Mats N

    Crybaby,

Great job both tonewise and with phrasing. Absolutely stunning work. As far as too much guitar is concerned......never!!!!! I thought is was perfect.

The blues backing is mine, but I'm happy to see it used here. The more the merrier. And Lasse's take was smokin' :dude I believe I borrowed the chord sequence from a song by Alicia Keys.

Smokin' clip. CryBaby, what vintage is your Ibanez Artist? I've got one from the late '70s that I recently dropped some HD Z90's into. They're great guitars.

Hi, and Thank You, cranqued !

    It's a 1978. The model is 2618.
It really is one of the best guitars, ever built.
