Anyone else got any problems viewing TGP through TapaTalk

I'm on Android and reasonably competent with tech but every time I try to view TGP it just says "Failed to connect to Forum, Contact administrator"

ditch it; the new software works very nicely as it is on mobile stuff.

I also prefer visiting the forum on TapaTalk, and would like to get it working again.

Same problem for me here. I like using Tapatalk since I view multiple forums with it at the same time, something viewing on the web doesn't do.

Are there plans to resolve this or is it not on the horizon?

Do a Google search of Tapatalk and security risks and you'll gain an understanding of why the answer is "not at this time".

Was this not also a concern when the site was VB? We used TT for years with that version. What makes this version of the site different enough to make the change? Just respectfully curious.

Just to be more specific without offering too much; Tapatalk (and Forum Runner) both have direct access to the member database and hackers (and spambots) both can be used to backdoor around security protocols and drop all sorts of nastiness both on the forum and - more frightening - gain access to the back end. That's not anything evil people don't already know about; but most people don't know (and don't really care). I could go on (and on... because there is quite a bit more to it) but that should be specific enough without my appearing condescending or not sympathetic to the people that enjoy using those apps to surf forums. Quite simply, it's just not safe for forum owners to use those apps.
Yes. In the research for moving forward and on the advice of our IT and consultations with experts we were made aware of the security issues. Tapatalk (and other apps like it) directly access the user database and bypass security measures doing it. You can draw your own conclusions.
