Hey guys, I have a 2005 Taylor and was wondering if anyone has tried the expression system with the Fishman Aura Spectrum or the Radial PZ pre. The concern is running a preamp into another preamp but the Fishman functionality seems amazing. I would prefer it to the Radial but it may work better if it has an active or passive input switch.
I haven't ruled out pulling the expression system out all together and just putting in a K&K FanTaStick western in it. Any experience with these two preamps?

You would be better off with Fishman's new updated Platinum Pro EQ DI/preamp. The Aura Spectrum is really for players who want to take advantage of the acoustic imaging options. These images will not work well with your Expression System. The Platinum Pro EQ is definitely a better option.

As for the K&K FanTastick, I would avoid that as well. There are far better pickup choices out there and much better Undersaddle pickups to choose from. The FanTastick is not a very popular choice.
