I tried to add my TC Electronic Nova Repeater into my effects chain using a CIOKS DC10 power supply. It shows 9-12v/300ma so I plugged it into outlet 8 of the DC10 which is supposed to be 12v/400ma. Not only did it not work, it caused my other pedals to loose power. I'm using the Nova Repeater now with the original power supply with no problems, but I thought it was supposed to work with the DC10.

    Any suggestions?

Is there anything connected to output 7 ? Are you using a standard black cable ?

    Hi,

Have you set the red mains voltage selector switch on the back to the correct value..? If you are in US the switch should be set to 115.

No, it was set to 230V. I'm in the US. I'll switch it to 115. Did I do any damage by having it set to 230?

    Thanks!

No, you didn't damage anything. But your DC10 was putting around 40% of its stated power. You probably didn't need it all for the other pedals and only noticed it because of the Nova, which needs around 270mA.

You would blow the DC10's fuse if if was the other way round.

Haha nothing beats having the manufacturer answer your queries.

Wanted to say I've used the Nova Repeater with the DC10 for more than a year, to great success.

    Wow!
Thats a huge difference from the Nova Delay.
IIRC, I measured ~180mA for the Nova Delay.
I wouldn't think those 2 would have that much of a difference (not to doubt you, just surprised).
