TC Electronic Shaker?

This seems like one of the lesser known TC pedals. I just noticed it on the TC website, watched Tore's video, and was impressed.

I mainly play a Tele, and due to fixed bridge, I am intrigued by the "rise time" and latch feature for a trem-bar-like effect after raked chords (without having to apply a little persuasion to the neck ;) )

Does anyone use this pedal and can provide feedback, good or bad? In latch mode, I assume the footswitch still clicks, yes? If so, I can see that being a major drawback.

I had one briefly for faux leslie tones and didn't like it. too digital sounding for me.would like an analog type instead.

Loved the tone. But there was some ridiculous compression going on to my tone. Eg: in latch mode while it is unlatched, I can hear the thuck thuck thuck of my attack like being affected.
I wanted to keep it but that was a huge turn-off for me

I have mine and use it a lot. I have a Strat, so I've only occasionally used the latch mode with my Les Paul for crazy vibrato effects, but I didn't notice any compression or coloring of the tone, and it works very smoothly and nice. The stock setting is cool for an LFO style thing that can be used at the end of chords with longer rise times, but I use mine with the Bassel Vibe Toneprint and it sounds really good.

Yep, it should be a toneprint for the chorus. Had a Shaker for a while but it was hard to justify the space for it and it doesn't have that analog warmth.
