I'm probably reaching way out here but I'm looking for new bridge pickup for my ASAT for a jangly/chimey tone. Think Ric 330. Suggestions?

Lipstick tubes can do the jangle pretty well.

I think Don Mare does a pickup called English Guard or something like that, and it is meant to do the chimey, jangly Ric thing.

Well I've got a Don Mare 0038 in there right now and it's not quite what I'm looking for. I'll check the site to get the specs on the one you mentioned.

True but I think GFS is the only place to get one for a Tele bridge pickup.

With the big almost-P90-style G&L slanted bridge pup or the more traditional Fender bridge & pup?

If it's the latter, Fender OV is great for jangle/chime and Fender Nocaster is great for chime/jangle -- not to be reversed ;)
