I have an ash bodied rw board tele I built that is bright with the existing Bill Lawrence Keystone pickups.

I want to try a Duncan Jerry Donahue bridge and SM-1 Mini Humbucker neck.

I have a 250k volume pot in it now if I remember correctly.

Will this pot value make the mini hum too dull?

    What value is recommended?

I have a mini in one Tele and a JD in another and can say they are both bright enough w/ 250s, and I play clean. [Good thing I read your query this morning, what are the chances?]

[Do you nd a JD? I have another extra, mint in orig. box.]

Great was hoping to hear that as it keeps things more simple. I figure output differences can somewhat be tweaked by height adjustments.
