I've been in the mood for a Vox lately and have a couple Fargens so figure this'd be a great next amp! But I know little to nothing about this model?! Nor can I find any info on it.

Is it Voxy? Is there normal clean headroom like most 2xEL84 amps or is it a break-up machine?!

    Thanks!

Heard a couple clips and they sounded overdriven and compressed.

    Would love opinions!

Yeah, I could do that. But that's just 1 man's opinion. I figured I'd get a broader opinion here.

I have an Epic 30/15 that I love. Played it last night on 15 for a while, then to 30 with an Epi Dot with Lollar Imperials. Tubes are JJ's and speaker is an Emi GB12. 15 watts was plenty loud, but moving up to 30 makes the sound a little fatter and fuller. Mini toggle was in the down (80's) position. The amp delivers a great clean, not much breakup. Ben said he could add an MV and a few other tweaks to get it more Voxy.

I happy with it as is. I can get clean ringing tones or dirt with a Red Snapper. Carbon Copy for some delay/reverb. The tone coming out of this rig last night were topshelf. Didn't have the amp more than 1000 with a loud band in a small room. I cut through the noise just fine.
