I bought this from Guitar Center this week, and need a little education on it as I've never owned a Fulltone before.

As the pictures show, the inside says "8-26-97" and #1717. The volume knob pops up and down as well.

Can you tell me anything about this guy? Especially about the power....I've read people say I can run it at 18v?

    Thanks!

The volume pot pulled puts the drive in "comp cut" mode, which is how I prefer to use my FD2. This pedal is pre mosfet and flat mids options. Mine is about a year older, looks like yours inside, and sounds very, very good.

Don't know about running it off of 18V, but curious.

The current FD2 Mosfet can indeed be run at 18V, but I'm not sure about the older ones.

I'd email mike fuller at fulltone to see if you can run it a 18v, it's probably the best way to find out

I have this same pedal & you can indeed run it @ 18 volts. I like it much more @ 9 volts.
