I'm looking for a solo boost / tone sweetner and have my eyes on the Xotic EP.

But I want my boost to be EQd flat or slightly mid-humped.

From what I've read, seems like EP's going to be somewhat scooped? Even with treble (& bass if V1) dip switches off, is it still going to add some lows & highs?
Can it ever be flat or slightly mid-humped?

I've heard it through fender amps and really liked it. It made my Morgan Ac20 muddy.

I tried it with an AC15 and didn't like it at all.....but I dig it quite a bit through my deluxe reverb. I wouldn't call it flat or mid-bumped at all. To me it seems to boost the bass quite a bit and the highs less so.

Take a look at the OneControl Purple Humper. It's based on the BJFe Purple Humper which is the BJFe take on Fender's Clapton Mid Boost circuit.
