man that was awesome, it could have really been the answer for both parties. i bet they would have killed on d'arby's "wishing well" too.

That was pretty good, but Michael Hutchence is irreplaceable IMHO.

EVH actually considered Sass for Van Halen III. Everyone knows about Patty Smythe but not so much Sass. I think she would have been great. Tough, raspy. Could have nailed tha Sammy tunes and maybe some DLR tunes, and certainly Eddie could have written some cool stuff for her. I've often said VH3 would only have had legs if Eddie did something big and bold. Female (Sass), black (Corey Glover)... maybe even black female (Baby Jean from Mother's Finest, or a younger similar singer). But he went with a safe team player and we all know how that turned out.

Thanks for sharing. I loved that. I never really thought of them as a funk band, but Terrance really brings that aspect to the front.

Terence looks great at 54! Inspiring me to get this flab burned off.

That was better than anything they've done since MH passed, IMO.

Happy to see that TTD can still throw down. He's a guy who I thought would have been much, much bigger. He's like a supercharged Otis Redding.
