    ksm44 test snippet
(please excuse the crappy singing, all improv on the spot.)

Taylor 414, seagull artist Mosiac, and vox into shure ksm44, thru Art DPS w/dbx mc-6 in the loop (compressor), digital out into maudio audiophile 192 card, recorded flat. 4 acoustic parts (seagull and taylor hard panned for rythms, taylor for the other 2 high parts also left/right, 3 vocal parts.

    interesting note about the recording:

for the 1st two tracks i did, the taylor and seagull rhythm guitars, i thought the level seemed too low, but it still sounded decent...
after i was finished with the two, i realized i had the mic backwards, set on 'cardoid'

    LOL

    i kept the tracks.

thinking about growing this little ditty into a song.....
maybe it would work as a beginning section of a full blown band version of the same riff?
