Thank you Joe!!!! So nice to hear this instead of the typical Texas style. Your phrasing and rhythmic pocket are sick! Loved the retarded feel. I don't mean low IQ... ;)

Nothing cheers me up quite like hearing a new Joe Davies tune in the morning! :D

As always, a great musical sense of humor...a rare gift these days.

As always, Joe serves the music first.

Are you still doing the originals gig? If yes, how's it going?

The original project ("Cup'a Joe" is going really well. We just added another guitarist (Henry Turner who builds Aiken's amps). Got some gigs on the books and some good feedback from the gigs we've played so far.

It's been very rewarding and scary playing my originals and hearing people comment on them.

Well Done! It was an original take... that reminded me a little bit of Jim Campilongo -- after he dropped his Tele on his noggin' while executing an extreme bend. This twang-bluz' is tailor-made for the Spice Channel, and was possibly inspired by the Pine-Sol tasting chutney at the Indian restaurant the other day.

    :p

That was awesome- you were killing me with your bends- you floored me a couple of times with your chord choices. Nice one!

Man, I love how you play!
Great playing. You are playing with your feel.

Thanks for sharing. I really dig great tone without reverb!

I got to go now. I will back here to listen more.

PS, Which Suhr strat do you have?
I am enjoying my Suhr classic. Now I use rear pickup
    more than before.
