    Hey Everybody,

I've wanted to do something fun with the release of this new design for a while. I tried to get a 'design your own SF6' contest/instrument giveaway going with the admins here but they were understandably not willing to take on the project. I still want to get this design out there in an interesting way so I will be revealing a very special SF6 one little bit at a time through close-up progress photos (I rigged together my own lens setup so I'm not sure if it could be considered true macro). Once the instrument is finished I'll post a full set of real shots, until then it's only small details. ;)

That little lip on the headstock looks promising! Something like a firebird headstock maybe?

I've never seen a trilogy on an actual guitar before. Is there fine tuning involved for each preset? Can it work with a wide variety of string gauges?

It will be a while before it's strung up so I can't say for sure but the adjustments for each step look pretty generous. Without giving away too much I will say this thing will likely push the Trilogy's adjustment range as far as it's been pushed.

I think that might just be some kind of lens distortion or something... ;)

Maybe you were on the right track with the Firebird headstock, whoismarykelly?

It's only going to get worse! Time/life/weather are conspiring against me getting back into the shop. :( This week looks pretty mild so hopefully I can make some progress.

Mr. French might want to develop a sideline photography / poster business. Those shots are stunning.
