I couldn't tell ya, never heard her. Maybe I have but I don't know who she is. If you had given a name I could look up a Utube video :)

Yeah, there is something about her and her music...

She's very sexy on top of it all. I'm a fan I guess, I have some of her stuff around here somewhere.

I think of her as a singer songwriter first, more than a guitar player. More guitar than sheryl crow, less than jewel or ani difranco. she soes sling some nice axes tho.

This album is pure crap. However, her 90's stuff like Exile In Guyville is awesome.

Agreed, but that album cover doesn't have a guitar on it. Does have some nipular exposure, however.

I like that paticular album. Sure it's overproduced, but it has some really good songs. She's not interested in making Exile redux & that makes me
    respect her even more.

"Exile in Guyville" is my all time favorite record. "Whip Smart" is also great. She lost me after that, but the songwriting on those records is incredible. Her guitar playing is creative yet primitive, which I dig.

That pretty much sums it up for me, as well, although I would not say that "Exile" is my single favorite album (but it is definitely one of the best albums of the 90s). I'm just not a fan of her more recent pop work with professional pop songwriters, but I certainly respect her desire to take her career into different directions.

I'll definitely keep an ear (or two) on whatever she does musically.
