I had a bad experience with a Thalia Capo. Nice looking unit bought from a fellow GPer. No problems with the transaction. The capo proved nearly impossible to operate with one hand and then promptly broke, the casting hinge coming apart etc. Contacted Thalia support. They got back reasonably promptly and politley told me I was SOL because I wasn't the original owner. I suggest sticking with D'Addario capos or even Keyser...

Same Capo- different experience ( still bad ) - the spring is so heavy that you can lose control of it while re-positioning. It scratched the neck of my fathers '73 D-28 ( through the finish ) , he sent it to me and I scratched the neck of my D-45 ( luckily not through the finish ) - both of us trying to re-position with one hand.

Thalia = on the shelf collecting dust. Sticking with the Shubb
