I think he posts on here from time to time...so..

I just wanted to say thank you for bringing slide work back to the forefront of great rock n roll. I have tried to dabble at slide work now and again over the years, but I have been completely inspired since getting into the Rival Sons a few years back.

It is not a trick, or a one off add on for a particular song, you have made it part of your sound and the style of the Sons and it is fantastic!

And I also want to thank you and the band for incredible songs. In particular, Only One has become a bit of a savior song for me. I am on the road each week for work, so "road songs" tend to hit me....and my wife is also a big fan of the Rival Sons, so that song in particular keeps us connected whenever we listen to it.

Very personally, the Sons have had a big impact, so I wanted to share a sincere thank you!

PS...we need you guys to come to Western NY!!!!

    All the best!

Great post! I bought their disc sometime around Christmas and I think I've turned 20-25 people on to them so far. I love P and T the whole disc is outstanding!

    Hi Mayfield-
Your post warmed my heart there, man! Very cool.
We're in Nashville right now making out next record. It'll be all wrapped up in 2 weeks time. :)
It'll be a much different record from pressure &time..but all 3 of our records are pretty different from eachother. Nonetheless, it'll definitely be rock'n'roll :)
Thanks you for your nice words and sincerity.
    Cheers,
scott (guitarist for the Rival Sons)

Thanks for keeping Rock alive. Lots of people dig your stuff. I have played it for my bass playing coworker before and he liked it. In fact I'll be sure to have some Rival Sons playing tomorrow when I work with him again.

Come to Australia please! Since Jet turned into wusses and Airbourne went to Europe we have been bereft of great live rock down here!

I am thankful that I was turned onto Rival Sons a while back ago. Its nice to hear new music that doesn't sound like every f'ing other song on the radio. Keep on rocking fuzzbird and good luck with the new record.....I know I'll be buying it! Oh, and please come to Tulsa OK!!

I LOVED that tune "Pressure in Time" from the split second I first heard it during the Kevin Windham segment of MOTO3, it adds so much to that video. I have since then checked out your other stuff and certainly dig it! Looking forward to the new material.

    Thanks Scott.

    Cheers, fellas!
Just completed the next record!...will be available by the end of summer. Time to rebuild the pedalboard with some new goodies..new touring amps...and possibly adding one of our own - Doug Kauer(s) guitars to my quiver (a Banshee might be in the works). Kick ass, boys.

    Outstanding! Thanks for the update!

Will you be playing a new song on your current tour, or too early yet?

    Huge fan.
    Love the band.
They remind me a bit of the first Cry Of Love disk.
Killer playing and the vocalist is second to none
