Just a shout out to everyone that answers my questions on here with patience. I typically don't understand the super in depth answers, but I do appreciate all of the effort.

I would encourage you to get a subscription to Guitar Player Magazine and also explore what other print resources (books) are out there. It's nice to be able to bounce things off people on these forums but it doesn't replace concentrated study while taking a healthy one on the throne. You don't think Rodin's The Thinker was really just sitting there do you? No, he was multi-tasking.

He was thinking "If that bastard Rodin wants me hold this pose any longer, he's gonna have to pay me more... what time's lunch? can someone scratch my nose for me?"

Just remember: if you don't understand something, it probably doesn't matter.
(When you need to understand it, you will. You'll hear it in a piece of music, and it will click. If you haven't heard it yet, you don't need to know about it.)
