Man, that's a live one. Maybe it's the brand new battery reading 9,75 volts but lots of hair on this pedal. I switch between this and a Lovepedal BBB07 and this pedal seems a bit wilder. It's also a lot noisier than the BBB at the same levels.

But it rocks. Pretty primitive sound but nicely organic.

had mine 4 years now and it is the best od fuzzboost I have bought since i got a Ts808 for 39 bucks in 1981. seems to not get the beano to to me but nails the early sabbath, Blackmore,Page Tull and Gilmore tones into a marshall. lovre the tone you get when cranked but your roll back the guitar volume cleans up but has a bite n sizzle and in your face presence . Never getting rid of this thing

Pedal was made in 6/04 and I can read the "275" part on the tranny but that's all I can see. The angle is awkward for reading.

The Beano Boost is one of the very very few pedals on my board that I can never see my self replacing. I especially love what it does when you roll the volume back on your guitar. Gives me that clean sound I've always thought was impossible with humbuckers.

I almost sold my beano and then I plugged it in one last time, and had to slap myself upside the head. I thought it was redundant having two treble boosters, but they both sound so good I need them both. Primitive is a good word, though it probably depends on the amp.

I did notice that it lost a lot of it's tone when the battery dropped down to 8 volts. That's probably why I was thinking of selling it - I forgot all about the battery! So keep your batteries nice and fresh, if you use them.
