You don't say! Mmmm...hoppy beer.
My guess is it is more than a little watered down.
Same experience umping Little League here too.
And adult softball beer league with teams comprised mainly of construction workers would be a close second.
I play over-40 church softball. Our ump is old and blind and calls the entire game from around home plate. We learned early on that he made a lot of bad calls but that they tended to even out over the whole season...unless you bark at him, in which case it doesn’t.
The Catholic team has one hothead who took years to learn this. It was so much fun to get him on tilt back before he mellowed out.
I'm guessing you don't hear the lord's name in vain often in that league?
Hmm. I told the hothead to eff off once when I made it to second safely and he complained that he’d tagged me.
Also my team has post-game beers in the parking lot.
Did I mention I play with the Episcopalians?
You pray to this guy?
As good a God as any other.
Recent Mad Professor YouTube pedal demos have disturbingly err ‘featured’ shorts. In one case the shorts were combined with a scarf!!!
I’ve spoken to them about it. I felt I had to.
Look twice before you leap...
You mean Whiskipalians. Wherever you find 4, you'll find a fifth.
Maybe before the 'roids.
They lost me at "scarf".
You’re saying I should just go ahead and get a Benson Monarch instead. I hear you.
Buy ‘em all and decide which to keep when you have time.
I would probably like one of the amps more than the pedal.
Well, through headphones, not exactly the best presentation
True but almost everything I tried was through headphones at NAMM so...all things being equal and all.
Buy a Swart Night Lite. I’m loving the one I got from @Desolation Angel. One notch of attenuation and a flick of the light bulb compressor thing and my champ clone and vibro champ are even more awesome than ever. It’s also great when combined with the master voltage on the London Pro - a little of each knocks the volume down but sounds completely natural (minus the speaker breakup)
I’ve got the SPL Reducer
I saw Snail Mail earlier this evening in Baltimore. They were great - I dig her playing and singing. If you haven’t listened to her album yet, give it a spin.
