    I want one of these:

I'll regret it when I find I need 2 pickups but whatever.
The things that push me to Gibson is resale value and easy to find in the used market.
Still thinking about japanese copies but I want nitro finish (just because) and that is as expensive as Gibson's model so, unless I find a killer deal on a Tokai/Burny/Greco/etc. I'll probably be getting a Gibson somewhere during next year.

William is great. A precocious son of a gun having hung out with him a few times but definitely talented.

It’s not too hard for me to boycott Jimmy Johns or Papa Johns since there are much better options available for sandwiches (I’m partial to Potbelly) or pizzas. If I want chicken, I can travel a little further and go get some Popeyes instead of Chick Fil A.

That’s probably the only Gibson that would really interest me, but the AXL Bulldog I have kind of fills that niche already, so it’s not a high priority.

That’s my favorite song by X. Robert Earl Keen does a good rendition too.

Every time I play a gig around this time of year, I use it as my encore. (Although my version is closer to X's original.) :)

It’s weird to think of Dave Alvin being in X, but that album they made was a good one for the era.
