Thank you, Mike for opening this place back up. I'm not sure who said what, but I for one will try to stay more on track.

Off to a Independence Day party this afternoon. We're gonna eat a lot, play good songs poorly and watch fireworks. It should be a good day.

Anybody else seen Echo In The Canyon yet..?

Not the same thing as yodeling in the gully, btw. Like *completely* different.

Going to see it Monday at the local art house.

We played a little on the electric instruments until a thunder storm came in and we quickly tore down and headed inside. Some of us played acoustic for a while and then I left before the fireworks were over so we could beat the traffic at City Park. I'm glad that I just brought the little modeling pedal and ran through the PA.

My potato salad was such a hit that it was almost gone by the time I got to it. The secret is two tablespoons of vinegar on the potatoes after you cook them and artichoke hearts, finely chopped. Either that or people just were craving potato salad. Anyway, it was a nice way to spend Independence Day.

So I have a confession that @erksin will want to hear. I went to a few guitar shops Saturday to try out tele style guitars. I played one fender thinline and assumed a DRRI was a safe bet to demo with. I did not enjoy it even a little. Plugged into the vibrolux next to it and thought it was 10x better. Still didn't like the noiseless fender pickups. Enjoyed the Reverend Trickshot into the Orange Tremlord at thex shop way way more.

Moral of the story. I don't like DRRI's or fender noiseless tele pickups.
